A 'would-be' chemical engineering applicant here. I am not sure about my eligibility due to following reasons:

1] Basically, I am a Chemical Technologist here (B.Tech: Chemical Technology, M.Tech: Chemical Technology, Ph.D. Tech: Oil Technology)

2] Though I had Chemical Engineering subjects during B.Tech, my specialization is in Oil Technology throughout (mind well, Vegetable Oil and Surfactants research).

3] My current job duties include product development pertaining to Lubricants, Greases and Specialty Chemicals.

In short, I am performing all the job duties of a Chemical Engineer but my degree is of a Chemical Technologist and not of a Chemical Engineer.

Guys, what is your call? Will I be considered in a Chemical Engineering NOC stream? Please advice.
