Hi! I'm overseas, and I wish I had access to a cic hotline. I absolutely can't get through! What number are you people dialing?

I still don't have an answer as to whether my husband's green 'special' Turkish passport is valid to immigrate with.

1. Special and Diplomatic passports are not valid for Immigration.

If you have a smart phone, download the app called Magic Jack and you will be able to make free phone calls (if your phone has internet connection) to all Canada and US numbers, including hot lines, land lines and mobile. I am also outside Canada, but I've used this app to call the call center.

On a different note, when you posted the question regarding your husband's green passport, also called a special passport, I answered and told you it will not be accepted. Only regular passports.
