Hello!

My girlfriend currently form France has obtained a Working Holiday permit set to expire the 2nd of October 2020.
She is currently awaiting results from the Provincial Nominee Program in Quebec to obtain residence.

We would like to know if French immigrants after possessing a Working Holiday permit for 24 months could obtain
a Young Professionals permit with the help of an employer. We read somewhere that it was NOT possible.

However, I have doubts regarding the source. My girlfriend currently works for an employer at $14/hr in her field
with a Master's Degree and would like to change for a new employer. The new employer would be more inclined to help her
with a work permit if they did not have to submit an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment).

***Seeing as she has not received the Provincial Selection Certificate the employer must submit an LMIA for her to obtain a work permit.

We would like to see what her best options are.

Thank You!

Always rely on the IRCC site for information. This is the official site. She cannot participate in the YP program since she already has an IEC. The program allows her to participate twice since she is from France but the second participation must be in the co-op stream:
