The checklist says to include 2 return shipping labels. I'm currently in US and wants to send my initial set of docs to CIO Sydney. My chosen consulate center is New Delhi, India since I havent been in US for more than 1 year.

My questions are
1. Can I use Fedex shipping labels printed online?
2. Do I need to include envelope too or just shipping labels to my home address?
3. What should I put in the FROM address of the shipping label? CIO sydney or New Delhi consulate?

Please advice

thanks

Looks like you're making simple things too complicated, friend. ;)

Checklist says that you need to enclose 2 self-address mailing labels. Which means that you should provide them with your own residential address only. So that they can put in on the envelope if the package needs to be send back. The rest CIO itself will take care of.

1. You mean we need to give only address labels, not envelops?
2. Can I use my office address for such correspondences or is it a must that I can provide only residential address? The problem for me is I am staying in rental flat and change flats every six months or even before due high rent.

To my knowledge these should be labels. The CIC would provide the envelope.

I am not sure about using your office address for correspondence.

as far as i know and i just sent my application today . you just need to print your address in two copies and send it to them. mostly they will use this address to return your application in case it is rejected. they will just cut the address and paste it in the envelop to send to u.

you can probably give ur permanent home address and get them delivered to your temporary lacation later in case they send you anything back to u.

Yes, fakenoob is right.

This address labels are used for sending back unsuccessful applications only so you can give them your office address. Dont forget to mention yourself as a receiver only ;)

And hopefully you won't ever need these labels.
