free student ????

hello all

i am a a foreigner but i have a valid visitor visa to canada for 2018 , im willing to join a paid training program in the summer .

would u please explain to me what does free student mean ?

must i still get a study permit although the training will last for three month only ?

any answer can help

If you're being paid then you probably need a work permit.
