very true...i don't think they are going to invite many people atleast till may because
- they need to clear old applications
- test & play around till may to make EE system perfect.
- need time for provinces to get their PNP program embedded into EE

I don't think previous years application apply to the 2015 quota... Otherwise they would not have returned CEC application sent in after 20 October ... As they had met the quota for 2014 by that time...

This leads me to believe that every calendar year.. They must accept a certain number of application to meet their set quota for that year only...backlogs do not get transferred to next years PR quota..

So this year they will be giving out ITAs to a little more than their set quotas for 2015.. A little more because some applications will be rejected...

So expect number of ITAs to increase atleast 4 fold... Around 8000 ITAs every month..

Go read the settlement issues section. Stop being delusional. The plummeting price of oil has been devastating for Canada, the country is in recession or heading there. Alberta is finished. THERE ARE NO JOBS. The reality is immigrants with PHD degrees are doing odd jobs and even Canadian grads have difficulty finding work. Be very careful the whole system is a scam!

You don't see US or UK immigration say things like "come to Canada" like cic does. Those countries are busy keeping people out. It's because their not running immigration scams and do not need to advertise to immigrants. Their status speaks for itself.

Canada is the least advanced country compared to other G7 nations, even some third world countries have better cities.

Do your research, don't burn your bridges and make a bad move. Their cheaply handing out PR cards because it is pretty much worthless, no other Western country offers it so easily.

I agree with Alimoh.
Look at the targets for 2014 and 2015. Sorry I can't upload the links, but Google CIC targets for 2014 and 2015. Targets were increased a little bit and even if they counted backlogs they still accepted 25000 applications for FSW and 8000 for CEC from May 2014.
So they will accept similar numbers of applicants this year too, stop telling negative stories, it's just been 3 draws. I am sitting this 444 points in CEC and I am sure I will be invited it's just a matter of time.

Negative propaganda is a good strategy for reducing competition.

Canada has 3 cities on the top 10 cities list. Alberta might be in a rut but it is temporary. Oil is a finite resource and we aren't going 100% green anytime soon. It is going to go back up. And students who work odd jobs are students who don't try hard enough.

SO MOST PROPABLY CRS WOULD DROP TO 500-400

400 SHOULD BE THEIR CUTOFF AS CIC WOULD WANT YOU TO INCREASE YOUR CRS.
