Hi all!
I've applied for PR back in 2007 from india. Now, i found my soulmate from canada who is willing to marry me. Will it impact my PR status? Should i take my application back before my wife sponsor me? Confused..? Please help.

hello,
you will have to choose which application you'd like to follow. what was the first application like? you just need to keep in mind that after getting married it can take up to a year to have your second application approved depends on where you apply in-land or out-land.

Re: Found my soulmate while PR application in process

hi
I have applied under skilled worker immigration i.e point based system. My wife is permanent resident in canada. What is meaning of inland/outland? I think after marrying i'll apply for outland application as i am in india. Please reply.

are you sure that you FSW application will be successful? It can take longer for you to get PR being sponsored if you apply from in-land - t.e. being in Canada. but as you are in India, it might take quite short time, but you will have to prove that your relationship it truly genuine.
try to read more info about spousal sponsorship on cic.gc.ca

o yeah..relationship is ofcourse genuine. We met on matrimonial site and exchanged lot of emails n chat. She and her family will be visiting india soon for marriage. One query is that we exchanged mails on the id which is on my nick name not professional name. Will this have any impact?
