Hi All,

HOPE

Am I reading too much into this; this is from OP 6

Note: Exceptions apply to applications received between February 27, 2008, and November 28, 2008.
Someone who meets the requirements of the Ministerial Instructions today, but did not meet them on
the application received date, should be assessed in relation to today's date and not the application
received date. For someone who met the requirements as of the application received date, but no
longer meets them, the reference point should be the application received date. The rule of thumb is
to apply the requirements in a manner that favors the client. Applicants could not self screen before
the Ministerial Instructions were made public.

Sonea,

The reply from CHC you have received may indicate that they already changed your NOC as per your request by fax. But how could that be?! Because, that would mean they already received your file back from CIO with a positive assessment! But, then, how would that be possible if your NOC wasn't among the 38 jobs at the time your file was being assessed by CIO? Indeed confusing.

Try to contact them again giving reference to the reply that you've received from them.

Hi sonia,
I think that mail was quite in diplomatic style , but also it shows that your request is in process and your are not told to make any further correspondence, as they don't want that any body make any correspondence until they ask. You can see that they thanked you make correspondence very minimum.

Hi Sonera,

You have pointed out a very import clause from OP6. But the problem is we don't know when they will start assesment of these files (from Feb 27-Nov29).

Although they have said all the application after February 26, 2008 will be assesed in fast track. But they are not doing the same.

actually I sent the fax(on Monday) after sending e mail on Friday. The response was so quick, they replied in just 2 days, including Saturday and Sunday, I received this mail on Monday which is really unusual bcuz normally they take 15 days time to reply ....

about the NOC, I heard that they will not change it automatically and also we wrote the job descriptions before, based on the NOC 0122 ... now I sent them a letter with certain manipulation of the same job description, according to NOC 0111.

3 months before my application status was “sent to Nova Scotia”...... now the status says that “application recieved (we recieved your application on 11 Aug 08)” but according to the CHC Islamabad reply its “in process”... I have no idea if my application is in CHC Islamabad or in Australia..!

However I replied them rite away about this confusing e mail again asking them to tell me if they need any signed copy or something
