Hi all,

I have a question regarding an application I am currently completing for my child and would like to have your opinion. It’s more about how you understand the question.

The question is the following:
“Has the minor been outside of canada for a total of 730 days or more in the past 5 years or since becoming a PR?”

here is my situation simplified:

if the minor became a PR 2 years ago, should I list absences since becoming PR 2 years ago, or instead, report all absences for the last 5 years?

Yes it’s a citizenship application. I did ask the question differently a couple of times in the citizenship section but no answer. That said, my confusion is actually about how you understand the question regardless of the application type. Thx!

My opinion is only since becoming a PR two years ago.

This is based only on my ability to read, however.
