hello everyone!

i'm trying to fill out the form IMM5490E, and here are my concerns:

btw, we were in a relationship for 9 years when we got married a month ago.

(1) Prior to your spousal partner relationship, was your sponsor or any of your sponsor's family members related to you or any member of your family? - it may seem an easy question but i don't really get it the word 'related' :( since we've been together for so long, both our parents / family have been friends before we got married. so does that count? family friend? my brother and my husband are bandmates / close friends even before we met. does this count too? or are they pertaining to a different 'related' thing? ugh i'm sorry but i do hope i'm making some sense here :(

(2) MAINTAINING CONTACT
Has your sponsor visited you during the period of your relationship? Have you visited your sponsor during the period of your relationship? - do these questions refer to the part when we got married? because that will mean yung visit from canada - philippines and vice versa. or the part before the marriage? i'm thinking it's after we got married but i just want to make sure.

oh and this one from another form,

national identity document - i've googled it na and they're saying our country (Philippines) doesn't have it but a passport will do. but there's a separate question for a passport and that's the only ID i've got, aside from a police clearance / NBI clearance. should i write down the police clearance or just check NO for this one??

thanks in advance sa mga sasagot po.
God Bless!

1) I would say they mean related as in related by blood or by marriage, not friends. Also they mean before your relationship of 9 years started, not just before your marriage.

2) Your relationship started when you became boyfriend and girlfriend so count the full 9 years.

3) National ID document, you don't need and don't have so write not applicable.
