Form IMM0008 - can't type in one field

Hi All,

I have completed the whole form IMM0008 and validated it but for some reason I can not type in the name at the end of the form where it says "Consent to release information to intended province/territory of destination".

I am unable to type in the name field. Do I just print it out and type it by hand?

Please advise.

If you open and close the file sometimes the fill-in function stops working.
You basically have to fill it out in one go.
Also, re-check your above choices, if you didn't click something above then the menus below will not become active sometimes.

I would try to fill in the form again.

But if you cannot, that's okay, a mixture of hand-written and computer-filled is acceptable.

Hand written is to be expected. As per CIC Guide to filling out the application:

"2. Print all pages of your application form.

3. Read all of the statements in all sections carefully and:

a) Write your name in the space provided.

b) Check the appropriate box to indicate if you agree that the information contained in this application related to your intended occupation, education and work experience may be shared with prospective employers in order to assist them in hiring workers.

c) Sign and date in the spaces provided."
