So what is happening when you are opening it in the browser, are you getting any error message ?

Sorry, I mean open the saved file in the desktop, you cannot open such files in the bowser, it won't work.

If after clicking the link it is opening directly in the browser then hover your mouse around and you will see 4 options in the top right corner, one of the is called download. Click that and open it in the desktop.

You need to install Adobe Reader (https://get.adobe.com/reader/)

Then Right Click on this link (https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm1294e.pdf) in your browser, choose Save link as... save the file somewhere on your computer.

Open the Adobe Reader application, choose File -> Open from the menu, locate and open the pdf file you just saved.
