It kinda gets confusing.. especially at the top of the form says the principal applicant or the spouse, common-law or dependent child age 18 years.....

what they mean by that is both you and your spouse were being sponsored, and if you have children being sponsored, than each person needs separate forms. if there is 1 person being sponsored, you need only 1 form. If you have children not being sponsored at this time, make sure you put them down or else you will not be able to sponsor them in the future. This is the form CIC uses for future possible family sponsorships. Again, the person being sponsored is the applicant. the sponsor is the sponsor.

plz guide me my husband sponsoring me but in generic application form for canada i have to fill dependants portion is it necessary to fill dependants portion? n if i want to sponsor my parents in future dose it effect

if you have dependants/children then you want to tell them the truth. not disclosing this information up front will either result in a rejection for misreprensentation or the inability to sponsor your children in the future. your entire immediate family must be listed on the additional family document. if you tell them you don't have parents when you do, then the same would apply as above. if your parents are deceased, then you note that fact on the form. if you don't have dependants, just put N/A in that section. They will use this form to verify your information if you choose to sponsor family members in the future. if they aren't on this form you supply during your application, they will not allow you to sponsor them in the future.
