I want to bring my husband from Bangladesh to Canada. However, we do not have much evidence to show for this particular section.
Right now we could only gather -
  1. a joint bank account in BD (no activity though)
  2. I have sent him money through my Canadian bank account to our joint account
  3. We have few receipts from expenses like honeymoon flights, hotel and restaurants.
  4. we also have few receipts/screenshots from wedding expenses with vendors
Do you think these documents would suffice for this particular part asking for financial support? I am not sure what else I could provide as we did not spend much time together, hence, not enough documents

I'm not sure if that's enough, let's wait for the senior members to answer your question. I have a suggestion for number 2. Try to provide the bank statements of your joint account that reflected the amounts you sent your spouse together with the screenshots of the transfers.

Proof of financial support is not required for approval. Submit what you have but if your spouse is able to support himself in Bangladesh without needing financial support from you and you are able to support yourself in Canada without financial support from him then specify that is why you don’t have evidence of more financial support between you two.

We’re both working and don’t require financial support as we’re living in separate countries. Should I also provide a letter of explanation saying my reasonings?
