Hi in this form, I have indicated that I sponsored my mom, 10 years undertaking and have I provided my mom (age 80) all the living necessities right till now. She pays me a small rent of $150 a month from my allowance to her. This has entitled her to receive an Alberta Seniors benefit of $143 a month over the last few years.

I am sponsoring my wife now from the Phillipines. I have never defaulted on my moms undertaking in any way, like a "Sponsorship Breakdown" and she has a very comfortable life with me and also my sister in Alberta. My question is - just because my mom receives a seniors benefit , will that be a problem in my sponsorship of my spouse. Any replies will be appreciated .

No benefits from the government in the form OAS CPP EI are not considered default

Hi, one other question, only bcos I cannot find the answer in the forum here after searching.

If certain forms are not applicable to our application , do we need to still print a blank form and enclose it in the application , just to complete all the boxes in the document checklist.

For instance we are not using a Representative (IMM5476) , do I still need to print it and mark "Not Applicable" in all pages please.

Thanks

Hi tony, may be a late answer but i will anyway. For not applicable forms, no need to print them out and enclose.the checklists do say after all "if applicable", so we just put n/a beside its checkboxes .
