Forgot to sign the application, what next?

Hi everybody,

I recently applied for Post Graduate Work Permit but missed out on signing the application.
A lady called up from Vegreville, AB and made me aware about my mistake. She gave me a fax # 1.780.603.2695 and told me to send the missing doc ASAP. After numerous attempts, I gave up but fax did not go through due to some technical difficulties. I later called up the toll free # 1.888.242.2100 and spoke to an agent and brought to his attention about what all happened. After taking down all my info, he then said that I should wait for the lady to call back again in the meanwhile he would forward a message to Vegreville office.

To be on the safer side, I have physically mailed the missing document with the fax confirmation reports (which showed "failed" result) and a cover letter telling them about the matter, yet I haven't heard from anyone.

I also called them to follow up and they said that they have released a document (don't know what kind of document as it doesn't show up on thier systems) from their end and today its been 10 business days but I haven't received a single piece of document/info.

Please advice me on how should I go ahead with this.

mail system in Canada is not the fastest. You havent mentioned your location but i think you should wait for another week if your application is not too urgent. If you dont receive anything within a week then its best to follow up by phone.
