Hi ,

We made an online application for my mom and dad to come to Canada in Oct 2020. Currently waiting for biometric submission. Me and my husband are permanent residents. My dad is the primary applicant and mom is accompanying family member. The issue is my mom had a US visitor visa refusal in 2012 when she applied alone, we didn’t know the reasons then, my mom and dad reapplied together a couple of months later and they both got 10 years B1/B2 visa which is still valid.
In my moms application we forgot to mention this bcoz it totally slipped our mind since she has travelled to the US 4 times since then.

Now I was going through their documents since the biometrics is approaching and realised this error.

1. Should raise a cse and let IRCC know this?
2. They are applying from India. What would be their local visa office so that we could also email this LOE to the office as well for double confirmation.

Thank you very much in advance.

1. Yes, let IRCC know asap. If IRCC find this before you do, your mother may be looking at a misrepresentation ban.
2. Sorry, I don't know the answer to this one.

Hi Scylla,

Thank you for your reply. We already send a case specific enquiry with a letter of explanation, copy of visa, travel history. We also send a modified application as well. Can anybody point me to an email Id as well to which we can email just in case?
My parents have applied from India.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Scylla,

My parents visa got approved. I did raise a Webform immediately and notified IRCC. Thanks for your help.
