My wife forgot to apply non-resident when she left Canada long time ago. BTW, we are planning to come back in this summer. She just noticed and search through internet but it is a bit complicated to us. Can anyone help to give us some information please? Thanks.

If you don't owe the government taxes, it's fine. You can always dial CRA toll free number to make sure.
