Forex Card as proof of funds during landing

Hello experts,

I have got CoPR and will be travelling to Canada for soft landing by end of March or early April.

I will be carrying some cash and Forex Card as proof of funds. Somebody told me to get Travel Cheques or drafts in place of Forex card as there are some cases of rejection he said.

Please suggest.

If it's a soft landing, just carry cash/credit card for your short stay and a copy of bank statement as proof of funds. No need to bring all your funds with you.
If you choose to bring all the money and open a bank account, bank draft would be better

Thanks, But I have transferred the money from my bank account to Forex card and some cash CAD.. I plan to open account in Canada, withdraw money from Forex card and then transfer cash to Canadian Bank account..

I am worried more about eligibility of Forex Card during

Is Forex card eligible as a proof of funds at the time of immigration/landing in canada ?
