Hello Friends,

I have a question regarding my express entry profile for Canadian Immigration. I have 2 years and 9 months of work experience in my home country after I graduated with my Bachelor's degree. After that I went to Germany for my Masters that lasted for a duration of 2.5 years. After my Masters, I returned to my home country and started working in the same NOC. Now I have worked for 4 months after completing my Masters. So I want to ask that whether my old experience(2 years and 9 months) and new experience (4 months) make me eligible to claim the maximum points for foreign work experience of 3 years. However, it is written on CIC website that the 3 year of work experience should be continous. Therefore, I am confused that do I have to work for a full one year to make my experience a total to 3 years? Your prompt response will highly appreciated and have a nice day. Thank you in advance.

it should be continuos.. no gaps is permitted by IRCC.

Thank you so much for replying. I really appreciate it. Can u plz answer one more question. As I said I have 2 years and 9 months of experience before my Master (Decemebr 2010 till September 2013). This makes my 2 yeays of continous experience. After my Masters, I have been working since 3 months ( from February 2016 till present). Next year in february, i will complete my one year of continous experience. Will this present experience and my previous experience of 2 year and 9 months will make up 3 years of continous experience. Your response will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Yes, if both jobs are paid employment on full time basis. Get more info at this section, http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-expression-of-interest-b54.0/

Thank you Pipis Husband. Is there any chance that I can get the points of 3 year experience now as I have 2 years and 9 months of experience before my Masters and 4 months of experience after my Masters. There was a gap of 2 and a half year gap as I was enrolled in my regular Masters program. Thanks in advance
