Does anyone know what documents have to be provided for foreign work experience? I have 3 years foreign work experience in the UK. I know the requirements from the CIC website, but not sure what they will accept in terms of proof of these requirements. I was thinking a letter from employer stating job description, hours etc..? But didn't know if they wanted any other proof.

That's the best way to do it - getting your current and past employers to give you a letter (on their letterhead) which lists the various positions held, supervisors contacts, roles and responsibilities (in line with the relevant NOC), remuneration, working hours per week and company details is usually sufficient for all practical purposes.

Hi,

can contract work count for work experience ? Companies in sri lanka dont pay EPF /ETF on contract employees .should you be able to provide slips for EPF etc as well, or would copy of contract/pay stubs/ reference letter suffice?also does the size of the company count? I work for a small travel firm that also owns a hotel , but it is a small operation that is family run. should that be a problem? pls clarify if possible.
TIA!

Contract work is fine. You need the same reference letter that is required for any other work experience.
Size of the company makes no difference.
