Foreign Work Experience Before Graduation

Hi.
I wanted to know if work experience must be after an applicant's degree or not. For example, If I have five years of permanent work experience before I've got my diploma is that work experience still eligible? Because I am planning to get a new diploma it is of most significance to me to know this before I act. Additionally, my diploma will be directly related to my work experience. I've read the documentation on British Columbia's website (https://www.welcomebc.ca/Immigrate-to-B-C/BC-PNP-Skills-Immigration/Skilled-Worker) but there seems to be nothing mentioning this, which made me wonder.

The immigration act defines work experience and it makes no mention of study, where foreign work experience is concerned.
