Foreign Experience Query

Hi friends,

I have a query on Foreign Experience as to how much would be considered in my case.

All exp. below is in NOC Skill level 0 - 0122

1. Jan-Oct 2008 = 10 months
2. Mar-Dec 2009 = 10 months
3. Mar 2015 till date = 2 years 5 months

There are three categories for Foreign Exp under CRS:
1. 1 year
2. 2 years
3. 3 or more years

So which category i would fall under i.e. 2 years or 3 years more

Your help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks. But the reason I asked this question was because of CIC website says that experience should be continuous for at least an year. Since I had 10 months each in 2 different jobs, would that be considered completed year or not or would CIC sum it all up to arrive at total years worked??

You need one year of continuous work experience in order to be eligible under the FSW program (no idea why you're asking this in the CEC section though).

After you meet such eligibility requirement you can add all other skilled experience within the past 10 years even if there are gaps.
