For those Who Got visas!!! preparing & packing for Canada

Few things to clarify

1.whether Indian Mobile Phones work in canada (i mean whether they are compatible with Canadian Sims)
2. Electronic Equpiments like Nikon , Sony Cameras
3. My laptop has pirated Softwares, is this a problem

You can use an Indian mobile phone here also. You can get mobile sim cards here. Most Telecom Companies Frequency band rates are 850/1900 GSM... Rogers Wireless(GSM 850 / GSM 1900),FIRST Networks Operations Inc,Microcell Telecommunications Inc (Fido),Dryden Mobility,ICE Wireless.

You can use also Cameras, Nikon, Sony or Canon etc. Check your chargers accept dual voltage. 110V to 240V. Here the power is 110 volt. Your plug should have flat pins or buy adapter.The two pins for the wall outlet is straight and flat, and not round as in india. Straight pin adapters are available in electrical shop.

Almost all my programs including XP and N AV are not original and licenced. If it accept on line updates, there is no problem for use.

hi accounts when are you leaving for canada, don't worrry about cell phone it works or you can buy a new one for very nominal price, but think about jobs as your brother already warned you not to come to canada as it still under rescission.so be careful.
