For several forms like IMM5669 question 8 and 9, dates are required. How are you indicating "present" or "current" date?

For example for current address, we know the "FROM" date, but there is no "TO" date, as it is our current address and we still live here. Normally I would think to type in "PRESENT" or "ONGOING" or something to that effect, but these fields don't allow anything non-numeric to be entered.

Should I just leave the "TO" fields blank for these questions? Or put the current date (today's date)? What have other people done?

Thanks

I think having blank field doesn't allow you to validate in some forms like Generic Application Form, so what I did is to put same date as signature date.

I put the date of expiry of my visitor status (which was about three months in the future). Didn't cause me any problems, but I think entering the date you sign the forms makes more sense.

Ok, so just to be clear...never leave it blank and assume that they would understand that we are still living at the address. Just put the date of signature?

Some fields require data or the forms won't verify correctly. Yes, you'll need to enter a date, I believe.

just put the same date when you signed the form :)

Thanks everyone!
