For All Those Who Have Applied in January 2010

Hi Mimi0713,
Well,that is my own opinion,others may have a different view of the issue.For the document which were notorised way back 2008,you might want to get some new ones notorised for 2010 to make them more relevant to the current year of your application.My own view also.
 
CIC Says, Up to date Letters/references. What is up to date? How many days old? from which date?

Hi everyone,

please add me to this list as well. I applied to London office and documents received by the visa office on the 18th January 2010 and system shows as pending review.

we will see how it goes. any good news let's share.

I mailed my application by post (not courier) on 10/02/10 from Sri Lanka
Do I get an ack by post or by email or both.

How long would I have to wait for a response from CIO ?

you sent in February so basically its 60-70 days to get AOR from CIO.
 
Hi Friends I applied on feb.09 but have done one mistake in the imm0008egn generic formin q21. I write information of my spouse in the 1st column of family member and left other two columns blank, forgot to write N/A. people say on this forum that if u dont write N/A ur application return back.
really worried.
 
canada, Some people got their applications returned back for not writing N/A
This is also reminded again and again in EG-7.pdf guide of CIC.
I assume that they have some sort of legal or software relational problem if N/A isnt found in blank places.
Thanks to this forum for sotrming this knowledge to my head. I also read the EG guide a few times b4 sending my app to CIO.

you sent your application feb 2009? til now u didnt receive your AOR?!? or maybe feb 2010

Hi All,

It looks like they have started tolook at Jan application packs, However please note mine was a resend.
I received Resend again toay (20th Feb)!!!!!
So annoying.
The first resend stated I had not included an LMO, So I sent back in return of post.
This time they have stated that I require work visa or AEO.

Fortunatly I have applied for TWP and await results hopefully in the next week.
Then I will resend and hope for third time lucky.

I think my case goes to prove the seniors advice in reading and re-reading the documents
to ensure you have provided the correct detailed information.
