Congrats Doglover... ;)

Hello All,

I was trying to collect my documnet and i was confused at the below

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37029.pdf

Section "FEE PAYMENT
Follow these instructions to pay the fees. If you do not, we will return your application. Processing fees are not refundable."

"If you are applying as…Then you must…a federal skilled workerpay the processing fees to the CIO in Canadian funds. Fees are payable by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or to the "Receiver General for Canada" by:•certified cheque, •bank draft, or •money order."

I was not able to locate how much we need to pay again?? while sending application to Local CHC after receving AOR

Regards
Wolfman

Hi Wolfman,
you have to pay 21440 Rupees in Indian currency for one applicant and if there are two then 42880/- in the form of a draft payable to Canadian High commission at New Delhi.
here is the web address for fee details:
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/pr_fees-frais_rp.aspx?lang=eng

hope this will reduce your anxiety.

And To Doglover and Sharma ji, Many many thanks for +1 rating.. I too have increased yours...
regards,
gauri :)

Hello my friends,
I have a simple question, I hope you know the answer...
On CIC website, when they put the estimation for the visa offices outside canada, they wrote the time required to processing the application, I guess they start counting when the CHC receives your application, but my question is till when do they count?

I guess the question is not clear, let me put it this way... According to the website, Damascus visa office needs 6 months...
Those six months starts at the time of receiving the application, but when do they end? at the time of asking medical ot at the time of issuing the landing visa?
Does the whole process take 6 months? or processing application and requesting medical needs 6 months?

Thanks...

Dear Hareega,
Six months ends up when the final decision is made. Its not for medicals its for the whole process.. that is after your status shows 'in process' by Visa office and ends up with final result either visa or rejection........

gauri :)

Thank you Gauri for your help...
I guess then if my application was accepted, I should expect medical request within 3 to 4 months, since on CIC site they wrote that Damascus takes from 5 to 6 months...

Thanks again.

@ doglover is moving in excellent speed he has completed all his medicals well today and sent passports to CHC new delhi on 1.04.2010.
