Hi people,
I am from delhi and my classes are startig in Humber from 10th Jan 2011.I am looking for some one to share accomdation with me.I would be landing in canada on 27th of dec.If anyone is interested kindly help me out with your email address/phone numbers.And if you could also tell me the amount of money monthly is needed to survive in ontario including housing,food etc needed.I appreciate your replies in Advance

hi avimanyu...Have come online after many days.The ticket costed me around 30000 rupees.Tickets after 27th are much expensive and the rates wud be high till 10th jan

I am just waiting for my visa. But am just confused that whether can i book ticket before getting visa. Do i hav to pay anythng for booking? U kno any travel agency who does?
 
Yeah avimanyu u can book tickets even b4 u get d visa stamp.I am not sure but i guess u wud have to pay d entire amount for the booking and if for some reason u cancel it then nothing is refunded but if u postpone it d airline charge some money n postpone it to d date accordingly.This is just my guess contact some agents or airline directly to know the exact scenario.I can give u some number for agents...where r u based?

Even i am quite confused like you, whether to take tickets now or not...

Hey by the way, i guess you could try booking tickets online from site like cleartrip, makemytrip so on... by the way the other day I saw in makemytrip site, they had mentioned that they would refund the money with minimal charges...

just wondering if we could do so...experienced guys share ur view on this...
 
As someone rightly said above that flights are already booked till Jan 10.

Visit any Legit travel agent and have him buy a ticket for you - if there is any available on due date.

If for any reasons you won't lodge ahead. They will deduct a normal charge and refund all money.

I had to have my Agent cancel my seat on Dec 6.
It was a confirmed reservation ...

My Agent wanted me to purchase it but I am waiting for my study permit issued ...

I wish All we get visa before Xmas :)

Is online booking free of cost or wat? Its a risky way to pay the whole amount before getting the visa in hand. What say?

i dint get what u trying to say bro. Are all seats booked till jan 10? Den if i want a ticket for dec 26 den wat to do? Wont i get it?
