Flying home for Christmas, still waiting on PR

Hi All,

I'm flying home to Ireland for Christmas.
My permanent residency application is still in progress, I'm assuming because I submitted a follow up document late. Original submission date is 08/30.

Fearing this delay I applied for a work permit extension and successfully received this for 1 year and with my eTA extended also.

Will I be ok travelling back to Ireland and returning to Canada despite my PR application still in progress?
Is there anything I should be aware of?

Feel free to travel, your trip wont affect your PR application processing adversely. Happy holidays.
