hello

my PR card is being renewed and is still in process. i need to come back to canada ASAP, and have no time to wait for PR travel document.
would record of landing be enough to prove that i am a PR in canada to board on a commercial flight? and my passport (visa-exempt country).

will airline acknowledge a record of landing as a proof of PR?

thanks!

Where are you from? Which country? Are you American?

You can expect them to ignore a record of landing, as it's not a travel document. Unless you have a a USA passport, your options are very limited. PR card or PRTD. Otherwise it's private transport over the USA/Canada border.

my passport is south korean.
would still be impossible to board on a flight with a landing paper?

yes. the landing paper says right on it "not valid for travel". therefore, it can not be used to get on a plane. it can be used for seeking entry at the canadian border. if you don't have your pr card, then you need to get a PRTD to travel back to canada.

Your only options are:
1. Wait to get PR card
2. Apply and wait for PR Travel Doc
3. Fly to USA and drive across land border into Canada using passport/COPR

There are no other options. You'll be denied boarding if you attempt to fly directly to Canada with no PR card or Travel doc.
