Hi all,
I have a question here. I got my visa today and I am planning to land sometime in August this year. I am currently in US and I would like to go to Toronto as I have relatives there.

Please suggest me which is a better way to do - flying directly to Toronto or driving from Buffalo to Toronto. I am considering the drive option because of the ticket fares which is very much costly if I want to fly directly to Toronto. Instead I can fly to Buffalo, take a rental car and drive to Toronto which works out cheaper.

Give me some suggestions on this please.

where are you located in US ?

and how much family member you are..i mean wife and children...

do you own your car..?

check out mileage and gas, then compare it with your fare..and select the way accordingly.

Lots of people fly into Buffalo to save money. What I don't know is if there are any issues doing the landing in a rental car. Presume you mean to return to the US after landing?

I am located in Charlotte, NC and I am single. I own a car here. But I am not planning to drive all the way from Charlotte. It is too far. I would fly to Buffalo, take a rental car and enter into Canada. That is my plan for now.

That is correct. I would be coming back to US. I am going there only to complete my landing procedures. Since I have a relative in Toronto, I wanted to go there and spend a weekend with them. Or else, I can complete the landing procedure at the Buffalo Niagara border and return to US.
