Hey guys,

I just got my PR visa and stuff and I'm looking to do the border crossing at Niagara Falls this weekend to get my papers.

Can anyone clarify what the procedure is for me?

- I'm a UK citizen on a UK passport, so no visa should be required for me to enter the USA (I've been there maybe a dozen times so far this year without a visa)
- I've lived in Toronto for the last two years on a work permit
- I'm hoping to also have a look at the US side of the falls as I've never seen them from that side, so should I tell them I want to cross to see their side of the falls, or for PR landing, or both?
- If I am refused entry (apparently this is normal for PR landing?) will that be an issue for future trips to the USA? Will I need to declare such refusal?
- Can the crossing be done on foot?
- Do I even need to go to the USA if I'm going to Niagara Falls? Apparently the Fort Erie immigration office can be accessed without actually leaving the country.

Is there anything else I'd need to watch out for?

Thanks!

George
