Hi again, I was hoping someone can help me out about the landing process and the aftermath of it all. There is a waiting time of 8 weeks at the local Edmonton CIC office, so down to the border I go! Since we're going to be 6 hours away from home, I want to be prepared.

Flagpoling
1. Do I just go up to the US border and tell them I am flagpoling?
2. What documents do I need to land?
COPR, Passport, and Visitor's Record am I missing anything else?
4. Do I need to show proof that my sponsor and I are living together (bank statement)?
5. My COPR has only 1 photo that CIC stapled to, don't I need 2?
6. Should I pay the RPRF before landing?

After Landing
1. Do I need to apply/exchanged for a Canadian Driver's License (in my case Alberta Driver's License) right away?

Thank you in advance for the help ;D

Hi

1. Yes, tell them you are flagpoling.

2. That's all you need to land. If you have more stuff to import, then you need the B4 forms.

4. No, you don't need to prove you are living together.

5. No, you don't need 2 photos.

6. They will not issue your COPR until the RPRF is paid.

1. Different provinces have different rules. Check with Alberta licensing.
