Hi there - this is our situation and need help.
I'm on a student Visa valid till end of September 2020, my common law partner is on a close work permit valid till the end of January 2020. (We weren't common law yet 2 years ago when we applied for our visas).
He found a new employer that will sponsor him for another 2 years. He has a positive LMIA, new job contract reference letter from current employer and all past documents he used for first work permit.
We have been told that he would just need to flagpole in order to get his new work permit, with the name of the new employer, with just this documents and if I go with him I will be able to get my OWP too?
Sounds too easy to be true!! Any ideas??
