First time traveling as a dual US\Canadian

I'm going to be traveling with the US to Canada, and wondering if this is Ok. I'm booking my flights with my US Passport\Known Traveler info so I can get TSA-Precheck when leaving, once I land in Canada, I go into the Canadian Citizen line to enter the country. I'll leave Canada, Montreal to be exact, with my US passport and enter the US with my US passport.
