hi friends,

I laded in 2012. I have some income from US before moving to calgary. I want to file taxes in canada , any suggestions like which agency to check , what are the issues you faced etc..

Just to note NETFILE is only available after one has actually filed a paper return.

OTOH, since this person never stated they have income in Canada, only mentioned the US, I'd suggest filing with the IRS.
 
Hi

It is preferable that you utilize the services of a Tax Agent/Company. If you have stayed in USA for 6+ Months then you need to file US Tax returns also. Your moving expenses/License fees can be claimed as deduction. At least for the first time filing, an agent is suggested since you may not be aware of all the deductions available
