First Time Landing in Canada

Hi Friends,

I am CEC and i got PR and my family also got PR with immigrant Visa and they are going to land first time in canada. Could anyone please help me what immigration officer will ask and what documents do we need to show? Any experience. Your help is much appriciated

The links above clear the documentation part. Since you are CEC, your dependents might be exempt from showing proof of funds. Your dependents might be asked if they have a criminal record and other formal questions. They might be asked some basic stuff on their COPR.

Your dependents might be asked for an address so that IRCC can send their PR cards.

Your dependents might have to submit BSF186/BSF186A - Goods to Follow form

That is it - It isn't going to be very complicated, IMO.

If the PA is exempt from the Proof of Funds, so are the dependents.

If you have completed landing formalities ,the dependents will have no issue.

Thank you guys for your reply. Am landing next week and my family is landing feb1st
