First Steps Getting Canadian Residency - Would Appreciate Your Help :)

Hey guys. Just came across this forum and am looking to obtain Permanent Residency in Ontario so hoping someone here can give some advice.

About Me:
- I am from the UK and hold a UK passport.
- I run an online publishing business (see below)
- I plan to move here with my girlfriend and baby

About my Business:
- I run websites which are primarily supported by advertising revenue.
- The business earns more than $50,000 per year.

1. I'm looking to shelter my overseas revenue from any Canadian tax liability for 60 months after obtaining permanent residency as described towards the end of this page:

Would this be possible?

2. To the best of my knowledge I should be applying for Permanent Residency in the Self Employed Category. Is this correct?

3. What is the next step forward?

4. How long does the process typically take and how soon can I move over?
