First or second option

Hello there,

For my sponsorship application, I do not know which way to go. If I check on the option that if I am not allowed as a sponsor, I get to be reimburse except 75$. The second option, the application is sent anyways to Bogota. The thing is I sponsor from Quebec and I have to get the CSQ. Is mississauga going to wait for this to send my application to Bogota or it will send it anyways and notify Bogota when they receive the CSQ.

In other words, do I put myself a longer delay if I choose to get reimburse ?

I definitely recommend you tick the box to withdraw. In general, if the sponsor is found ineligible the PR application will be refused.

There are almost no situations where it makes sense to proceed with an application if you are found ineligible to sponsor. It's better to withdraw, and sort out the reason you were found ineligible.

The only reason I know of where you'd want to proceed was is if you knew you were ineligible to sponsor already, and specifically requesting H&C consideration.

Another question, Is it ok for me (husband) to say I was to interpreter for my wife to fill out her IMM 5490 because she only speaks Spanish?
