Dear all:

my job experiences (all in Singapore) are as followed: 1.First job (NOC: B): July 2015 - June 2016, 10 months+ in total. 2. Second job (NOC: A): July 2016 - present.

I understand I can pass the 67/100 entry requirement based on my second job; the problem is, for CRS calculation, is my first job countable as it is less than 1 year?

My assumption is, for CRS calculation, I get 10 months for the first job, and 26 months (if I apply in September 2018) for the second job, so I can get 3 years job experience in total. Please kindly clarify.

I would appreciate your answers so much! Thanks!

Yes your first job counts for the experience calculation. The rule is to have atleast 1 year of experience in your primary NOC to be eligible to apply. I am thinking you will be having NOC A as your primary and after that whatever experience you have will be counted, even if it is for a month.

Dear santhkum, thanks so much for your reply! so many people told me that different jobs must be in the same NOC and I'm so confused. Btw, in case I receive ITA, if I submit any document which is not correct, can I re-submit or do any amendment online? Thank you so much!

It is completely wrong. You can have your job experience in any number of NOC. You can amend the documents by using IRCC web form. But I would suggest you to take your time and submit each document correctly. Because you never know whether the VO will accept your amended documents.

Dear Santhkum, you are such a star!!! I was told by several so-called Canada immigration agents that only jobs under same NOC are accepted. I suppose you already got PR! Hope to keep in touch with you in the future, in case I may still encounter some barriers.
