Hi Guys,

I am a CEC outland applicant and I received my ppr. I will travel to Canada by airlane from a different country -this will be my first entry to Canada after being a permanent resident. Do I have to show any proof funds to the officers when I land? What docs should I bring with me? Please advise.

Thanks

During the landing interview, officers are supposed to make sure all the info on which a CoPR was issued were true.
So to be safe bring proof of funds, and all docs supporting your PR application. The officer can ask whatever document from your application (e.g. employment letters, police certificates, etc.)

That said, I would suggest not to be too stressed, the landing interview can be more a formality (mine was, 15 minutes only, the officer asked only basic questions and did not ask for any additional document) -- there was a lot of in depth checking by the appropriate gov't agencies before issuing CoPR.
