Fingerprints- IRCC haven’t received them yet

hey friends
I did my fingerprints on 1st of April and today is 17th and IRCC still haven’t received them
Called CIC today and agent said sometimes it takes 5 months to get fingerprints uploaded in the system and as long as i did those i shouldn’t worry
5 months ?
Any thoughts??

Check with RCMP and see if they have processed them and returned the results to IRCC.

Hey friends, i called Cic in the morning and they haven’t received fingerprint results and i also emailed RCMP about it and they emailed me back saying they sent the results in April 8th, 2019
In response to your request for a status update on a civil criminal record verification for: Canadian Citizenship



Please be advised that the verification in question was completed on: 2019-04-08

And the result of our certified criminal record check has been returned to the address indicated on the electronic submission.

As requested the results were mailed to:

IRCC
200 - 877 EXPO BOULEVARD
VANCOUVER BC V6B 8P8

I called them today agent said they haven’t received it yet, last thing was when they sent me fingerprints request on 26th march, nothing after that he said they are waiting for fingerprints results

They’ll have to reply back to webform query and it would be an evidence that you’ve been following up. You may forward their reply to RCMP as well.

When you had your finger print taken, did they give you a number (called DCN)? You can use that to check the status of your FP when you call RCMP to make sure it’s done before you contact IRCC for it

It is done, i emailed them with DCN# and they replied back that they did it on april 8th

Then you are probably still going to wait a bit ... RCMP says the result is to be sent out about 3-4 days after it’s done , adding the time Canada Post takes , and the time IRCC takes to open it and update the record in its system

Hey Friends
So i have sent fingerprints receipt to IRCC cause its going to be a month since i received fingerprint request
I think i figured out why they haven’t received it because My is Cheire Kaur (last name only) on application and RCMP did Cheire Kaur Cheire Kaur on fingerprint application, so i included that to i my application
May be now that can find my fingerprints somewhere sitting in their office

And one more question when do we receive automated email from cic after sending something through webforum
