I got fingerprint request in cec last month does this a good symbol in processing of file does this mean my papers are ok and what will be the next step can someone help me with this

That's the procedure when CICs name based security and criminal check fails. It's a good sign, as your application
is still in process. Follow the instruction sent to you by CIC and you'll be fine.

Just to be clear, this request is nothing to do with security. The request is a result of a name match on the RCMP database. This is nothing to worry about (assuming you haven't done anything illegal). Lots of people share the same name, so if a match occurs, they request this check just to make sure you aren't the person who committed the offence.

Your application may have been scrutinized by this point, but it may not have been. Just get the check done ASAP and you will see some movement hopefully in the near future.
