Hi, Im thinking about applying for permanent residence inside canada (family sponsor), and I´ve Heard while in process i could also apply for a work permit that takes around 4 months. Does anyone know previously to receiving that work permit If there are working possibilities in Canada or definitely couldn´t be able to find a job?

thank you, would appreciate any information

Are you looking at spousal/common-law sponsorship? What country are you from? What is your skillset/trade/common area of employment?

thank you for your information

The only way to work prior to receiving the OWP, would be to find an employer that would be willing to go through the LMIA process...which could be difficult.

You need to get a TRV first before you can apply inland. That is not a guarantee.

Why did you delete your first thread? A lot of your questions were answered there.

To answer your question about finding a job, I actually found it quite hard. I've had my OWP for about a year now, and I'm still under-employed.

Had a good job in marketing previously as well, went to a good Canadian university, so either the job market here is extra harsh, or they really don't like my choppy resume (caused by my inability to work while I waited for OWP).
