Financial Support by an Intern

Hi. I will be applying for an Extension (Visitor Record) with the goal to achieve common-law. I cannot work but I have some money stored in a joint bank account. My boyfriend wants to make a letter stating that he will provide financial support for me, he's an intern at the government and a student with some money stored too.

1. Would it suffice if we provided both our bank statements + a letter saying he's working as an intern?
2. Would he being an intern be considered as a valid stable money income?

1. Yes that should be ok although it is hard to say without approximate figures..
2. Yes being an intern is a job. Internships are usually for a short period of time.

I have approximately CAD 3,000 in savings and he has approxamately CAD 10,000, if that helps

Yes it should be ok although I am just not CIC.
