Hi all,
On the new IRCC portal for TRV application, there is a section for Finances with the questions:
1. How much money do you have for your stay in Canada.
2. Is someone else giving you money for your stay in Canada.
3. Please provide details.
I am applying for TRV for my in-laws and wanted to inquire that the amount which we need to fill for question 1 above, should that amount be equal to the total cash in bank + Fixed deposits + Savings (Stocks etc) of our in-laws for which we will be submitting proof?
We personally dont have whole lot of savings yet in Canada since we arrived here recently. So unfortunately we dont have whole lot of amount which we can show in our banks in Canada. So should we answer "No" for question 2? Although of course my in-laws will be staying with us.
Please give your suggestions and what did you filled in your application.
