When I apply for Canadian visitor visa, can I provide the finances from one of my friends who lives in the USA while I am living in Yemen and my citizenship is Yemeni too?

No. Funds for any visa must be your own in your own personal account. Why would a friend in the US provide funds for Canadian visitor visa? Not even family, so no. How old are you?

In fact, I applied for a visitor visa, and my two cousins live in the United States, New York, and I thought it would be possible if they provided me with a bank cover letter.
As for my age, 38 years old

You are 38 years old so you need to show your own funds. Cousins are not even extended family and are not even in Canada so there funds are irrelevant.

Thank you so much Sir, the information helped me a lot
Can I prove my finances with my savings account for $25,000 as I am planning a 30-day visit with my son?

How much is your vacation going to cost for 30 days and 2 people? You want to show that you have enough money for a trip without using all your savings. You show that you and your son have ties to return (job letter with approved leave, school registration), stable income, travel history and valid reasons to travel.

I am participating in a young professional fellowship conference in February 2024 in Toronto, Canada, which is the reason for my visit. My son is 14 years old and is very excited to see Canada and Negara Falls, and I do not want him to feel sad if I do not take him with me in case a visa decision is issued. I have a fixed income here in Yemen from a rental property in the amount of 2,500 US dollars per month. How can I prove this money - through international transfers to Canada since I do not have a bank account in Canada, or do I have to deposit it in my current account? thank you for helping me.

Processing is long son most likely you will not get a response in time. What is the benefit of such a conference to your career. You have a family and coming to a young professional conference. Fixed income is only accepted if the money is in the bank. Future rental income is not considered. What are your ties to return to Yemen.

I work in the field of education and tourism and I am thinking of organizing international studies for international students in Yemen and education. My connection to Yemen is my work, my family, my wife, my children, my father, and my mother. Most importantly, my work in Yemen. What I think about is that it is an opportunity to strengthen my relationship with the world because there is difficulty in doing so, especially with international students in Yemen, I start feeling it's difficult.

Still don’t see the tie to a leadership conference in Canada. Suggest you keep visit to one week. Leave son behind. Traveling to Ontario for a month in the dead of winter is not a vacation for him. Then you may have enough funds because you don’t for two people for a month as well as supporting a wife and children in Yemen. Processing is over 160 days so if there is conference next year then that may be best.

Have you thought of how you & son are going to Canada? You probably need stopovers to other countries such as via Türkiye. Do you need a visa or transit visa for the stopover?

Majority of the visitors attending conference in Canada end up applying for Refugees after arriving, and stats indicates Conferences is one of the contributor of In Canada Refugee Claims. The fact that you are coming from Yemen, and you want to bring your son along with you for conference ; are red flag for Visa Processing Officer. You need to overcome these issues to be approved

OP started another thread about getting a study permit for English classes too. Coming for a 3 day youth conference in Toronto and staying a month in February is strange. Many attendees to these conferences claim asylum.

I have nothing but good intentions and what I want is to learn the English language fluently and develop my work. As for the conference and my desire to attend it, it is a new addition to my professional and cognitive life. I started feeling it's difficult. about my son, He will make visiting for 2 or 3 weeks and back home. I am coming from my country, Yemen, and I am not a refugee. What do you advise me sir?
