Received AIP details below:

Country : Pakistan
Applied : 10th march 2020
Biometric : 13th march 2020
Medical : Done Upfront
Catagory : SDS
Received AIP : 19th August 2020
Intake. : FALL 2020
Intermediate : 71%
Metric : 82%
IELTS : 7 overall (8.5,7,6,6)
College : Columbia College. (Vancouver BC)
Program : Associate of Arts. (Business Administration)
Duration : 2 years

Iam very happy but bit confused as well...
Should I start classes online or get deffered into JAN 2021. Because i don't see Students get rejected..,May be IRCC rejects applicants at second stage (its my notion) .. However,i have passed medical and done with police clearance and biometrics.
If they reject my application at second stage, meanwhile, iam taking online classes, college will not refund my fees.
Iam stuck right now. I really need honest suggestions from you guys. Please guide me.. ..
And if anyone have questions regarding my case, you are welcome.. .

Congrats. Nice to see an update from Pakistan. Your program is of 2 years. I'd suggest to start online and then move to Canada when visa is stamped and you are allowed to enter.

I don't know, but looking at covid19 and current trends, I feel something will change in IRCC policies if students received AIP prior to fall 2020 session and had time to start session but still deferred to later term. I could be wrong but if they can introduce a temporary AIP, they can introduce something else in the future that may put many student in difficult position.

EDIT: Can you add your details in sheet in my signature? It'll help other applicants to get some overview.
