After about a year, my husband has finally landed at the local CIC office. Those of you who are planning on making an appointment to be landed at the office, instead of flag-poling.. I suggest you do so (If you live in Winnipeg). I've seen so many members telling me that making an appointment to land is notoriously known for its long waiting time. I was wrong! After we made an appointment, we got a phone call after about a week. To my surprise, the lady on the phone indicated to me that there weren't any appointments booked the same week when she called.
So if you are currently staying in Winnipeg and feel uncomfortable to drive the long distance to flagpole, why not make an appointment and see how long it'll take you to get to the appointment?
