Finally got visa from Chandigarh consulate.

I'm happy to tell you all that I've received my stamped passport today which was processed at Chandigarh consulate. Here's some more information:

I followed SPP checklist strictly. Which means no SOP, no ITR, not a single extra document. I paid only one semester fee and not whole year's. It took around 20 days (including weekends) but it's here. So dont pressurise yourself over SOP (unless you have something big to explain ) or paying whole fees. Just follow the checklist. Waiting is bad, but those who have applied already should brace themselves because the decision-train has started. Good luck all.

hii mera v tere jaisa same case ho gaya hai.......actually mujhe bhi aaj i gt a message that my passport has been dispatched via bluedart....and i have not got any mail yet,.........

i dont know esa kyu hua maine bohot wait kia hai and all i have got is a message of passport dispatch........

Guys I need to ask you that what happens if you have no travel history, its weird, sometimes you have to start from somewhere and if this is the first time what can you do, mujhe nai samajh aa raha, my friend got rejected twice with that reason and saying could not satisfy you will not come back to your country. Can you guys assist me as some of you have got the visa...Please!!!

Don't worry, You have got the visa, May be approval email will arrive tomorrow morning

Don't worry 75% of applicants who got their visa had no travel history. Your friend case is different than you.

Thanks a lot, it makes me feel better...I am assuming he will have to show more strong ties back home so it shows he will go back to his country.

Hi guys. Thanks for your wishes. I wasn't checking passport status a lot so I don't know when exactly it changed, but, I received 2 SMS from VFS that my passport has been despatched at 5:30 pm and my status was the same on tracking website; passport despatched. Then while I was on my way to collect passport the next day, I got approval email at 12:13 pm.
Brief information regarding my profile:
10th - 8.8 CGPA; 12th : 93% ; IELTS: 8 bands; one semester fee + GIC paid. Got my passport after 20 days.
P.S: I haven't travelled to any country too. Ask your friend to get CAIPS because sometimes the reason is something else.
